Before starting my private
practice in 1984 specialising in Eating and Trauma issues, I had a large range of work experiences, including being
co-director of a Women's Health Center, Assistant Director for a Displaced
Homemakers Program, Conflict Facilitator for a program in city schools,
and a counsellor for people with disabilities. I've worked with families
in the public schools, preschools, and a HeadStart program. I've done abortion
counselling, psychiatric counselling, and job counselling, and have led assertiveness
training workshops, groups for women with compulsive eating problems, and
empowerment workshops for survivors of trauma.
